In Thursday's chat, MerxYemps talked about deliberately incubating a dream sign. I thought that was a interesting technique, so I gave it a try. I tried to incubate a dream about a dog I had as a boy. As mentioned above, this one of my fairly regular DS. I found some old photos of him and looked at them several times during the day, stating my intention to see him that night during a dream.

Well, I didn't dream about my old pet, but I did have a dream about a dog! Definitely a near miss and encouraging. This is a technique worth practicing.

Plus, it's been over 100 degrees for the past few days and my AC took the opportunity to break. All I do at night is sweat. Forget dreaming ...

Awww that sucks! Comfort is definitely a factor in dreaming, and having to sleep at very harsh temperatures is just.. GAH! I hope your AC gets fixed soon, and your dry spell too

I hate when it's too hot. Because I was sweating one night, I had a dream where I was in a very steamy shower. I woke up drenched in sweat and uncomfortable. =/ I hope your AC gets fixed soon DawgBone.

So did you ever start up your meditation/yoga again? Just curious.

Thanks, Caenis. Hopefully I will get that fixed sometime this week. Dreaming about a shower is funny and appropriate!

Yes. I'm doing some hatha yoga and meditation. I'm also interested in doing some of the techniques described in Robert Bruce's Energy Work, the Secret of Healing and Spiritual development. Bruce is an interesting man and an authority on OBEs.
