Thread: Intro Class Daily Dream Snippets

I began to walk again and decided to test a theory. You know how it's difficult/impossible to shout or scream in a dream? Well, I tried this several times, and I felt how the sound caught in my throat. Then I tried to sing a note as loudly as I had intended to shout - and that sound came out fine. I tried this several times. High-pitched and low-pitched sounds at high volume, and all came out great.

So, dreamers: if you can't shout in a dream, sing instead!

(A motivational speaker in mystic robes.) Later a bunch of DV members and I are standing on the beach, listening to him give a seminar on lucid dreaming. (Wish I could remember which DV members were there!)

Great tip!! Every single time I've sang in a lucid dream it has been awesome. Sometimes surrounding DCs will even join in!

DEILD- I am in the house I usually start off in. The last time I was here I finally conquered my fear of jumping down the stairs headfirst from the landing. I decide to one-up myself and climb the banister, then swan dive down to the first floor from the top of the stairs. I fly down the stairs easily and turn right into the office, I turn around and 'backstroke' through air in the office for a while. I decide to check out the rest of the house and head into the kitchen.

The robe stayed on. I guess it doubled as your beachwear.

A deer impaled me with its antlers and it tickled.

The Marines said that I enlisted but I told them I changed my mind. They told me that I had to pay a $1000 fee for changing my mind. I was OK with that because I really didn't want to go or take the pay cut. Then I started scheming how to raise a quick $1000.

I went to a Queen concert, and then I cut my finger off because it wasn't working properly. It made sense at the time.

My mom and uncle were making black currant wine, but the black currants looked more like blackberry colored pomegranates. At one point I saw their juice running down my hands.

I was watching Peanuts on my iPad while sitting in a large building that shifted from an auditorium to a library. The full entry can be found in my DJ, which I can't link to because I haven't been a member for 7 days. It's nothing special, though. Just kinda weird.

I'm controlling a Mech warrior and fighting another enemy machine. We strafe around each other until I eventually blow the enemy up.

I was trying to yell at my sister, but my voice wasn't playing along.

LadyLoki, if you can't shout, sing instead. That works.

I'm observing 3 men planning an attack on either a city hall or a courhouse.

I was happy that the clarifying shampoo I've started using has been so effective in getting the semi-permanent color out of my hair. (Definitely waking life-based. Minus the dramatic results.)

-I'm constructing something in the basement of some kind of building. I'm bummed out because I'm going slower than the other builders.
-There was a propane tank with jets of fire coming out of holes in it's sides. Everything around me starts to burn.
-My teeth fall out which makes me lucid, I try to teleport to angel falls and think its working. Turns out it was the sound of my bedroom fan and not the waterfall

Was in a lucid and I became paranoid that spiders were going to crawl up my legs. I decided to fly but some grass grabbed onto my foot to hold me down. So I relaxed, touched my foot with my hand, and the grass let go. I saw a spider crawl by my foot and I let it go. That was nice.

E (a girl I once worked with) arrived at some point, and we hugged as if we'd once been best friends. (We were in good terms but didn't hang out. I did hug her IWL when accepting an award.)

My washing machine breaks and the apartment is ooded with water. I tell my roomate its worse than before and he tries to argue with me. I show him water gushing from a pipe in the wall, then tell him it's irritating when he argues about stuff when he's clearly wrong.

Internet died for a few days. Being a DV chat addict, I had withdrawal and dreamt about chat so many times. In one particular dream, I apparently could not access chat and I just watched as people talked to this new member named

I dreamt that I had an argument with my ex. We've been divorced for 13 years, for heaven's sake. He is also a dream sign. Why can I not get this man shifted OUT of my life?

I met a girl and two guys on a college campus before a football game. Both the girl and I thought one of the guys was hot. The girl was angry that I said, "Nice to meet you," to the hot guy as he left and not to her, though she wasn't leaving yet. I made a mental note to say the same to her when she left, but I ended up not having the chance.

(Non-lucid) I find a little green object in my pocket and hold it close to my face so that I can see what it is. I see two big round eyeballs and quickly realize that it’s a dead frog with his little tongue hanging out. I feel crushing sadness that he’s dead and I decide that I want to bring this frog back to life. I think desperately about bringing life back to the little frog... and in a few seconds, he starts to move! I’m really happy about this and I tell him that I’m glad he’s okay now. I name him “Mr. Froggo”. I bring Mr. Froggo downstairs to the back yard and set him free into the great outdoors. The day is beautiful and I’m filled with joy at what I’ve done.

This is the kind of dream that would have made me so happy as a little kid. It makes me even happier now.

I had another one about too many guests showing up and feeling stressed about it. That's a definite dream sign now. Two of them were conversing in perfect German, although I can't remember a thing they said, but I was impressed and wondering how I had never known that about them before.

You dreamt my day. We got a new washer, plumbed it in and set it to go. All of a sudden I heard water in the kitchen and went to look, I shouted to my partner that it was worse than the last one and she kicked off saying it was my fault for cowboying it in. The whole kitchen was flooded. Wierd. ..!
