I WAS SO CLOSE! Guys, I was almost there last night. Either it was near to a lucid dream, or it was a low level lucid dream (level 0 or 1?). Here's what happened. It was an unusually vivid dream, and I was in this building with two other people who supposedly in the dream I knew. We were all about to climb until an elevator when I held the handle and thought "Wait a minute...is this a dream? (thought for another second and looked around) Yes...this has to be, I'M DREAMING!" So I went in and the door close. While we're going up I look at them, and notice to their left there's a mirror, I look into it and my reflection is pretty normal, which was a BIG relief and I go to one of the elevator walls and try to push my hand through it. The wall sorta bends under my hand but it doesn't go through.

The thing that pisses me off was that I didn't really do one of my regular reality checks, and those two "tests" that I did didn't make me fully lucid If I was ever lucid in the first place. They were more out of curiosity than routine. Later the dream dragged on and the thought that it was a dream never occurred to me again. I think i'm really close though, I just need to faithfully do these RC's, journal, and perhaps pick a method which I haven't done yet.
