I try to observe things more than I use to do, trying to be more aware of sounds around me. Though I tend to forget this. But I try to be really aware of my surroundings when doing my RC:s, and truly question if dreaming. |
|
Bad night.. Went to bed and could not sleep. Woke up too late and stressad out because I would miss my train. |

That's a good question paperplane. I think that imagining what you would do if you were in a LD could be helpful. For example, say you're in your kitchen and start RCing and practicing awareness. Expect something to be behind you, like a pink alligator. Picture it on the floor behind you, how large it would be, how it might sound. Then turn around and look at the floor. I think exercises like this help because when you're in a dream, you should be able to make your imaginings a reality. Thus the pink alligator will further confirm that you are dreaming. |

I'll try the pink aligator thing |

Good to hear that your recall is getting better what with the details and such. Keep it up! |

Some progress! |

Some thoughts: |
|
I had a series of strange dreams this morning, after I WBTB, which eventually ended up in a short LD. |
|
Check out my DreamViews Podcast with OpheliaBlue!
The best reason for having dreams is that in dreams no reasons are necessary.
No sailor controls the sea. Only a foolish sailor would say such a thing. Similarly, no lucid dreamer controls the dream.
Like a sailor on the sea, we lucid dreamers direct our perceptual awareness within the larger state of dreaming.
Ouch.. I had another "Layer zero minor" last night. Drank about 6 bottles of soda, then I saw I just had drunk "Lucid Boost Soda". Each bottle also had a vitamin B6 pill attached to it. Did not get lucid.. |
|
Had two Halls Cough drops after WBTB. I don't know if it was just placebo or it actually helped. But I had much more recall this morning and the seemed more vivid. Though a bit more violent theme/kind of nightmarish.. |

Sorry I've been away for some time. It started with me trying DEILD and eventually FILD instead of my regular WBTB MILD. This didn't do any good for my recall, I went from writing down two dreams a night to not remembering any of them in the morning. At the same time I had a busy time with my project at work. |
|
Welcome back! Congrats on your lucids! Well done :bravo: |

Yes, here's my tasks for September: |
|
After a week without success I had a DILD last night. I was quite surprised because really didn't except to have one, at least not at that point of the night. But still it was my first DILD without any mantras before going to sleep. |
|
That's so cool, congrats! My DILDs are pretty much always unexpected, but if I do like you did and wake up and sleep several times in a row like that, I set myself up pretty good for a LD. |
|
Congratulations!! |

Heads up: It's almost October! I suggest making a new list of monthly goals you want to achieve, as well as reevaluate your DJ for possible new dream signs or any realizations |
