paigeyemps... |
I attempted and damn its so stressful, i come so close to full level 3 awareness |
Awww that's alright. Just remember that your subconscious is like a baby. It doesn't learn on the first few tries, instead, you have to consistently keep reminding it so that sooner or later, it will remember and do what it's told |

i got no kind of sleep last night so I think ill try to Wild |
Good luck in your WILD attempt! Remember it's always much better to do a WILD during a WBTB, so that you go straight into REM sleep |
Entered SP, but then I gave up and with a little effort, turned over. Have no dream recall |
Very close to lucid, I'll post back after I get some work finished. |

@Opheliablue Last night, I got more sleep than usual (by an hour) and I was just focusing on clearing my mind before bed. In my dream, I was at try-outs for college lacrosse and remembered to do 1 reality check. The nose-plug. It didn't work, but I continued to think I was lucid. Maybe I got overly excited, because the next thing I knew I had a false awakening. THERE I failed to do a RC, went back to "sleep" and thought I was in a lucid dream, yet again. I don't remember my dream after that...I could have been Lucid!! |
Haha I used to have FAs all the time. I know how annoying they can be. But definitely keep practicing reality checks, ESPECIALLY right when you wake up. This will help combat the FA thing. As far as nose-plug thing failing, there's certainly nothing wrong with having a couple different RCs to try back to back. Especially if they engage several physical senses instead of just one. |
The only thing is during my FAs I always forget to do a second RC. While in waking life I make it a habit to do multiple. Being partially-lucid was a completely different experience than I expected. So I think you could be onto something with the HH reference in my DJ. |

About to watch Waking Life: Movie about LDs so excited! |
So I have now had a few very short lucid dreams. I know that the excitement is supposed to wake you up, but it only puts me into a false awakening where I don't know how to move etc (besides the reality check to induce it). |
Hey Vinny |
Had my first long lucid dream where I stabilized and did whatever i wanted ...sick experience |
It's not really *sick* if it's just a dream |
