      Sjagy's Workbook

      Reality Checks:
      - Recall how i got here and increase awareness each time i get concerned about looks
      - Double check signs/writing

      Dream Signs:
      - Colossal structures (towers, ships, planets; and the distinct feeling of perspective they give that i dont get in waking life)
      - Anarchy, conflict (end-of-the-world kind)

(sample size: about 30 dj entries)

      Short-Term Goals:
      - Improve dreamrecall - more details, more continuity/ less fragments
      - Improve awareness of surroundings and sense of self
      - Stop getting waked from deep sleep so I dont feel like a steel trap rest of the day

      Long-Term Goals:
      -Inducing lucid dreams at will
      -WILD tech
      -vivid recall
      -Higher sensory and conscious awareness

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
      - ~2 dreams per night, mostly a continuation of the nights "main" story (places barely change or i "clearly" know that they are just around the corner from the previous one, often same people accompany me throughout the night with little variation), sometimes as fragments, sometimes completely connected into a smooth film. Then the next night is completely unrelated. After journaling im almost sure to remember everything the next morning too, if I dont then it will likely be blank for days until i can remember something and journal/tell it again.

Had four lucid experiences for what I know: first after a surgery while in the hospital, next one from a random dream without even trying, other after a party and a semi lucid experience likely to substances

      Current Technique:
      working with WILD

What part of sleep cycle should I aim to wake up at ?

      Spoiler for TL;DR:

Conclusion would be that the me trying to get up after too few hours of sleep might not give a crap about dreaming, and in general would be counterproductive

I remember clearly an interesting thing, that both nights, I was actually already awake lying in bed before the alarms started rining (immediately turning them off cause, hey im already awake, but cant remember even considering why I set them off in the first place), so I assume they hit right after my sleep cycle ended. Now my question is should I aim to get up right after a sleep cycle or set it off earlier and try to get up during REM ?
