      Red face lbkali2710's workbook

      Reality Checks:
      -pinching nose
-reading a sentence, averting eyes and reread the sentence again to check if it changed
      -

      Dream Signs:
-can't remember any because I have bad dream recall, and mostly attempted lucid dreaming with WILD
so never gave dream signs any attention
      -
      -

      Short-Term Goals:
-commit to writing a journal and discovering more dream signs
-stabilize my sleeping pattern (going to bed early and wake up at a decent hour) so I can recognize my REM pattern
-naturally have reality checks throughout the day
-having an HD quality lucid dream
      -stabilizing lucid dream

      Long-Term Goals:
-have lucid dreams on a regular basis
-have a WILD, and practice so I can have a lucid dream whenever I want
      -interact with subconscious
-ask dream characters what they represent
-have good dream control and do the following just for laughs:
      -ride an ostrich
-eat unknown things, or foods I love but choose not to eat in real life
-very cheesy, immature and cliché: but having sex with someone I cant in real life.
fly and live in my favorite fantasy worlds are also a very anticipated experience

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
-without any practice I usually recall 2 dreams a nigh, some really bad nights I cant recall a thing.
but since I don't write anything I recall only significant features.
but for the past few years I have the reoccurring dream of being kidnapped, but even when i re dream it i cant remember im dreaming

      Current Technique:
      - only tried WILD but unsuccessfully
but the few lucid dreams I have had were from DILDs

Yay, workbook looks great! DJing is really the best way to improve recall, so I look forward to reading it once you get one started.

I started out with DILDs too, WILDs came later on for me. In retrospect though, most of my best LDs were DILDs, so I'm happy to have LDs either way.

Hey there! Hope you're having some luck with your short term goals. I have to say you've chosen some excellent ones; a lot of people really underestimate the impact a steady sleep schedule can have on your dreams. Glad to see that you're working on that!

If you haven't already, read into the All-Day-Awareness technique in the tutorials, and see if its something you might be interesting in. ADA will definitely help with the "natural reality checks" part. =]

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

oh god the past two weeks have been the busiest i've had this year, a friend from abroad came to visit and "surprisingly" took a lot of my time so didn't have the chance to fix my sleeping pattern which kind of sabotaged my lucid dreaming training... i think.
      enough excuses!
on the good note i have been keeping a dream journal and my dream recall has improved, i can now recall up to 3 dreams a night and usually recall 2.
I am going to join the web chat class today and see where this goes to, sorry I have been taking my time with this workbook and my lessons but I promise to be better lol

Totally understandable! Hope you guys had a good time. It's really, really hard to tackle a transition to early-to-bed, early-to-rise when you've got a buddy staying over.

Sweet! I'm glad you made the time to write your dreams down even though things were so busy for you when you were spending time w/ your friend. It's really, really easy to let dream journaling slip, so good for you keeping up with it!

Sorry you've been so busy lately, I'm with you on that one. But that's good that you are keeping up with your journal. I find I have more lucid luck if I write in my journal every day, even when my sleep and recall are on the low side. In fact I have a fragment to record right now.
