      FrozenValkyrie's workbook

Hey guys, what's up? First night as a member, hope I don't get hazed too hard! This is ma workbook, and I think I did it right. I'm going to dive into the lessons tomorrow, but I figured I should get the workbook up tonight.

      Reality Checks

Main one I use is the nose plug. The few times I've been in a dream and noticed, it hasn't failed me. The finger through the palm one betrayed me, so I only use that one if I can't stealthily nose plug while in public.

      Dream Signs

Only one I've really noticed is that, if I'm driving in a dream, I have a complete lack of motor skills. I go all over the road, hitting pedestrians, etc. Another thing I've noticed is people close to me usually die painfully, but that isn't nearly as common, so it might be just I notice it more because it's so shocking.

      Short-Term Goals

Remember to stabilize! If I ever get lucid, I am just kinda like "Oh, cool. Ya know what I should do? Go fly. I clearly don't need to stabilize or anything like that, naww." It's so infuriating.

With actual fun stuff to do in a dream, I want to get good at flying. I am a firm believer of mind over matter, and with strong enough will I can fly. However, I'm still very erratic and I can't always get too high off the ground. For some destructive fun, I want to use the Hammer of Dawn (super laser of death) to flatten a city. I mean, why not, right? And finally, I want to free fall from near orbit, upside down. Finally, I want to be able to dream on a semi-regular basis, like once a month or so. I just hate the feeling of not making any discernable progress.

      Long-Term Goals

I would probably go for the standard "meet dream guide" one, because... Well, it would be pretty cool, and I think I could learn something about myself. I also want to generate a world. Like, full detail. Earthlike, but not earth. For an LD count, I would want to shoot for once a week.

      Dream History

I have been extremely spotty when it comes to my dream dilligence. If you were to look at the dream journal on my phone, you would find I recorded like 40 dreams in one month, and then just didn't bother for the next two, only to pick up 25 or so on the following month. I am sometimes really motivated, and sometimes not. I really want to make a commitment, hence the workbook and signing up for the Intro Course.

      Current Technique

I just decided today out of the blue to sign up here, and as I said, I've been very inconsistent. I have not been practicing for about two or three weeks, but I was doing SSILD. I heard it works really well, and I like how I'm more in control of when I have a lucid dream than if I were to just leave it up to MILD, while still being easier than WILD.
