Often, when I wake up, I find myself not remembering any dreams whatsoever, just like this morning. At first I am always disappointed by the unfruitful night, but then, when I just relax and do nothing for 5-10 minutes, I suddenly get flashes of huge chunks of dream experiences. And then I'm like 'how could I forget that?!'. The more I relax and not try to force it, the more details come into my memory. I know that this is very common, but now I can tell from my own experience.

So last night turned out to be fruitful nevertheless: The Trumpet Bong
My recall is still very good, even after abandoning practicing it for a while. It is still improving slowly, but steadily.

I currently use the MILD-mantra 'I realize that I'm dreaming and I remember my dreams'. Now I have extended it by also using it in my two other languages German and Danish. When I am completely relaxed, I speak it slowly in my mind and contemplate it's meaning, while I imagine the feeling of becoming lucid in a dream. I believe that extending it to the three languages I know may somehow be beneficial, as it integrates not only my 'English speaking personality', but also my 'German and Danish personality', if there is such a thing .
