So I had a dream. Or two. Depends on how you want to count it, I guess. |

I got sick. There's this pain in my throat glands that kept waking me up from my dreams, and I remembered all of them. They were pretty short, unfortunately, but completely unrelated, so I guess they count as five lucid dreams(and one non-lucid). One DILD/MILD, two WILD's and two DEILD's. God, I'm exhausted. |

DILD seems a good one to pick, especially as I've done it a few times. Refining skills is always fun, and I can't really stop my DILD if I'm aiming for LD's. |
|
You know, the cool thing about DILD, and I think you were basically saying it, is that it can happen whether or not you focus on it. DILD's really increase in frequency as you practice more awareness during the day. So DILDs don't take away from focusing on other methods at all. |

I didn't really want to deal with lucid dreaming last night. I pretty much turned all my facilities off so I could try to get a lot of restful sleep for both my body and mind. It worked sort of...I feel a lot better today, but I still had a few dreams caught(My subconscious knew I was lying to myself! |

Aaaah! No! I've been gone! Horrible, I know. Everyone noticed and was SO worried. lol...That was a really depressing laugh...At my own loneliness and despair...I'm alone....And I kind of want to eat someone's face. |

To be completely fair, talking to snakes could also put you in Gryffindor. |

I actually pulled all-nighter. Well, two. I'm on the verge of collapsing right now, but with a red bull in one hand and chocolate bar in the other I should be able to ward off sleep until I'm ready. I need to catch up too! And I hope my recall isn't damaged, because that would suck. Meh, I'll eat two bananas in case. |

Didn't have any dreams. Not thrilled about that, but I only slept a few hours. I may not have had the time to cycle through correctly. Meh, science...What is it good for? |

I was on vacation! It was pretty awesome, but I didn't have my dream journal or internet access so...Those dreams will be lost forever. Because I'm lazy. TOMORROW! |

I didn't dream. Blegh, every single time I WANT to dream it doesn't happen. I guess the stress just freaks me out. It'll probably take a few days for my brain to ease back into it. |

Fell asleep at about 500 in the morning and didn't start moving until about ten hours later. Had a really weird dream about running around with some guy and assassinating/helping people...It was a rather long dream. |

Hey welcome back RG! |

Yep. I find I can influence them to a degree to get precisely what I want, and my subconscious will fill in the holes while still allowing my consciousness to exert the precise amount of control I want. It's probably the easiest way to do it, but as I said earlier, seems to have its drawbacks. For me, at least. |

Man that's cool. Howie wrote that tutorial and he was one of the first mods on DV. It's interesting because reading it now, it kinda sounds like a WILD, but approached from a standpoint of meditation. |

In my dreams, there's generally a pre-text of super-ordinary powers assigned to each "character" including myself. These can amplify normal senses or give me new ones, but when I know I'm dreaming everything seems to dull a tad. Generally, when I realize I am dreaming, I feel less immersed: I know whatever happens is just a dream. However, when I am in the dream and aware but not knowing, simply thinking it's a real life scenario I think I have stronger reactions. Adrenaline bouts are stronger in situations that I might just write off when I know it's a dream. Maybe that's why I'm so tired, lol. My body actually has an adrenaline rush or something. But that'd also mean working out in my sleep would be effective to a degree too! |

I am sleep-deprived! And I'm also restraining myself from cackling like a mongoose (Do they cackle? I dunno. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi did, didn't he?) Sooo, maybe movies aren't the best sources of inspiration... |

Hmm, don't think mongooses (not mongeese, I guess) cackle. And you know recalling something is better than nothing right? Also, if you're sleep deprived, maybe you should sleep, odd concept hmm? Unless it really is insomnia, then that sucks, I know it keeps me up til like 4am or later, but then I just counterbalance by sleeping in til 3pm, so it's probably a vicious cycle really isn't it? Wow, I ask a lot of questions, although they are rhetorical. What am I saying I feel like I'm rambling, maybe I'm sleep deprived. Right, good job on the remembering of fragments or shadows I guess. And keep typing them dreams |

I got two hours of sleep! HAPPY DANCE! Had a dream about this weird poverty town and going to a dock for shipments...And...Cutting bullets out of a hidden container...And then running around and climbing buildings.... |
