      Cool Freeunity's Workbook.

A ginger with an interest in lucid dreaming and anything involving the brain.

      Reality Checks:
      -Finger through palm
      -Counting Fingers
      -Trying to change something
      -Nose Plug
      -Gravity test

      Dream Signs:
      -Persistent Danger.
      -Lack of physics.
      -A seemingly impossible situation.

      Short-Term Goals:
      -Master DILD
      -Master WBTB
      -Learn to fly.

      Long-Term Goals:
      -Achieve full dream recall.
      -Summon DC's
-Continuing a dream where I left off.

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
-A dozen or so in depth fragments. Three or four lucid dreams, nothing spectacular.

      Current Technique:
      -DILD

      Waking/Sleeping schedule+Assignment I:

I tend to fall asleep at around 11:00 PM due to the fact that I lose wifi at around that time. In the morning I wake up at around 6:30 but am going to start waking up early to focus on the WBTB method. I already have a journal and have it on a blank page next to my pillow each night. I have recently downloaded a phone app which reminds me to do reality checks bi-hourly with a sound and then replays the sound when I'm asleep to attempt a forced reality check. I want to lucid dream currently to experience things I'm incapable of doing in the awake state. My first goal at this time is to merely enter a lucid dream, everything else can wait. If possible I'm going to attempt to do more simple things in a LD, perhaps flying if I can figure out the physics.

Ate a banana before bed to boost potassium for dream recall. Going to test the wake back to bed method and DILD. I probably won't try to insulate a dream from memory and just attempt to gain lucidity. I've set my alarm to 5:00AM and will stay up for half an hour then sleep until hopefully 7:00 but I expect earlier. I woke up at 4:45AM and decided to try the method, I stayed up for around 25 minutes and sort of day dreamed away. I fell asleep but what I dreamed about is out of my reach.

Finally got back into this site and decided to go all out at my goals. I was going to make a new workbook but found this one in related threads. I'm currently working on FILD and finalizing a sleeping pattern for myself. I only came back on the site after having a lucid dream a couple nights ago that was so vivid and controlled that I had to look into this again.

Last night I increased my tryptophan and niacin b3 consumption. So far I haven't seen a difference and I don't think the FILD technique is really going to work for me, I'll probably move on to one of the more basic methods and see if I can get anywhere with them.

Starting today I believe I'm going to start working on the DILD technique and see how far I can get with that. Tomorrow I'll be doing my own reality checks to see if it can help me in the future. I've recently gotten peanuts and I'm eating them for the niacin b3 and tryptophan. I'm also eating bananas which have helped me with my dream recall in the past. I'm going to play music when I go to bed tonight to see if I can wake myself up and pinpoint when my dreams usually end.

In order for you to decide if certain techniques work for you or not, you should really dedicate a solid 2 weeks or so to the method. Otherwise its just a shot in the dark, you really don't have much of a chance for it to work.

I would recommend that you adopt some form of ADA or RCing during the day; a mix of the two would be best. I personally use this: http://www.dreamviews.com/attaining-...0%25-time.html Hasn't exactly worked for me quite yet, but that also goes back to what I was saying about having to use techniques for long periods of time to fully grasp it. After that, maybe introducing a WBTB to your sleep would help, for instance you could start using SSILD after a WBTB.

Any of the techniques on this site work, but it will most likely be a while until you are eased into lucid living. Best of luck to you!

Thanks (: , I'm not saying the fild technique doesn't work I just can't bring myself to the steps needed to do it.

I know the feeling, FreeUnity. I get up for a WBTB then when I get back to bed I'm not bothered to do anything. I guess you have to have the will to say mantras or do a technique; most of the time I just go, "Ah, screw it," then in the morning I'm like, "Dammit! I did it again!"

That completely nails me. Every morning I'm so annoyed I didn't do anything but at the time I couldn't bring myself to do anything :p

Ugh, stayed up watching anime and didn't remember any dreams when I woke up. Good game, well played.
