I experienced my first LD!
With my bad recall in mind I took real action yesterday:
- No caffeine from noon
- No screen time 1,5 hour before bed
- Wrote in both my journal and DJ before going to bed
- Meditated and did solid affirmations 30 minutes before going to sleep
After I dropped my intention of having a LD and just focusing on my DR, it still came tonight.
I cannot say that my dream recall become much better, but I had some! I woke up at one time during the night with a dream in my mind. I put my attention to it, thinking about it, getting ready to write down keywords in my DJ. But i fell asleep again before I had the time to write
The dream I had in mind wasn't my LD, or that's what I think. It bugged the hell out of me when I woke up this morning remembering nothing at all from it.
But suddenly, when making my morning coffee, I remembered how I had realized I was dreaming tonight.
*I was somewhere, going some place...
I think it was in a forest, or something alike.
I have the feeling of knowing where I was headed, when i suddenly came to a bar of some sort. The bar was open, maybe 1.5 square meters, two walls, no roof, and some strange girl wiping a glass clean behind the counter. Did I ask for directions? "Oh, am I dreaming? Its strange, can a bar be here? Like this? In the forest? It doesn't look like a bar at all?! I HAVE TO BE DREAMING!!" Some amazing feeling washed over me as I realized I had just became lucid. No RC. I got anxious that me being to exited would wake me up. I said something to the girl, she looked up again, and I jumped over the counter and kissed her. I then have some vague memory that something more happened, but I can't remember. I think that the dream took over and went on its way again.
This was a big motivation for me. But still, I have to work on my DR first. One step at a time
