Hello!

I've had several phases of getting into lucid dreaming over the past 5 years and I'm wanting to improve further. This forum looks fantastic to keep up motivation and the classes and challenges look like they'll be a great way to develop lucid dreaming skills!

Reality Checks:
- Counting Fingers

Used to push thumb through hand, but counting fingers I found to be a lot more reliable.

Dream Signs:
- No classic signs really spotted, will look through journal and highlight later.

Short-Term Goals:
- Improve Dream Recall
- Lucid Dream more regularly
- Stabilise Dreams
- Get back into habit of RCs
- Improve Flying

Long-Term Goals:
- Lucid Dream Regularly
- Speak with inner self
- Set up situations and put them into practice
- Shapeshift self

Lucid/Dream Recall History:
- Previously practiced RCs and recorded my dream journal regularly, which I have recently typed up into word. Used to write in a book but now write in phone notes as I feel I can write faster and don't need to move to get a pen, turn lights on or sit up. Currently out of the habit so want to build up the routine again.

Had a fair number of LDs now, the main thing I've been practicing in them is flying which I'm still trying to get better control with. Dream stabilisation is something I really need to work on. I frequently feel as if I'm aware of my own body in bed, particularly if I LD during an afternoon nap, and confuse my movements in the dream with the potential that I could be moving my actual body.

I had one successful WILD during an afternoon nap, ending with my first experience of sleep paralysis, which was horrible as I misinterpreted the sight of my covers as a person that was harassing me and it was scary. I'm glad I had that experience though as it's another step in my learning.

Current Technique:
- DILD, MILD, WILD, WBTB
