Thread: LucidMateus' Workbook

Hello everyone, this is my workbook. I'm starting the intro class and I still have nothing to write here, but will soon build my workbook.

Lucid/Dream Recall History:
-i've had 2 LDs as far as i remember and none of them was intentional or lasted long enough for me to do anything special.

-i'm only at the first day of dream journalizing. will update once i establish a dream recall frequency.

i had numerous dreams last night but only got to record two in my dream journal hard copy. one was about looking for someone, that's all i got. i have no idea who we were looking for or who was with me in the dream.

the other dream was about a girl i used to be real close with, in my dream her house was next to mine and i went there to wait for her to come home. she did and she said something when she saw me, i could not recall what it was.

I've been having consecutive dream recalls which is good progress i think. it's hard to get used to, though its only been 3 days.

I was outside my house in this dream, and it was supposedly a real hot day and I was with news casters. I was one of them and I was helping making the news show.
I suddenly felt very thirsty and I was dying from thirst.

Everybody else was saying "It's not that hot" and convincing me I was fine. I collapsed and my friend was there and he gave me some water and I felt better.
I guess dream signs from that would be the famous news casters and me being a reporter.

These are a couple of dreams I had that I wasn't able to type in. It has been 4 days of consecutive dream recalls and it's great that there are a bit more details here.

In this dream I was in a hospital in Canada getting treated for some disease, I'm not sure how I know I was in Canada but I was apparently. My childhood friend's father was supposedly the one who put me there and was helping me in treating
the disease I had. At one point in the dream I went to the bathroom and it was filled with dudes who told me they have the same disease as I did.
They consoled me and I was like "Oh, I'm cured somehow" and I ran out the hospital and to my childhood friend's place which somehow is in Canada now.

this other dream is full of gaps though.

I was on a vehicle and i'm not sure if i was going to or leaving from a scary place. it was a dark road and the place seemed unfamiliar and haunted.
there was this foreigner riding with me and he was on the front seat.
he was talking to the driver and the driver was telling him how cool his car pedal covers were.
the foreigner was asking if it was heat resistant and the driver was all like "yeah, course."

that's all.

in this dream i was with my college friends who are from different schools.

my friend was playing street fighter and me and my other friend wanted to make the sounds for her.
she didn't want us to do that and we ended up dropping the idea.

we ended up hanging out outside and we talked, I was so sleepy that I fainted but it felt different, it was like nothing i ever felt before as i was about to faint.
that could've induced lucidity, it was a hell of a dream sign, like my head was being torn apart and it was like feeling high only much much more intense.

my other childhood friend was there and he told me that we should go hiking and not hang around playing video games all day.
so basically it was a camping trip i guess...with videogames haha.

i read a novel about mike rowe and ray romano and it was written by stephen king. haha.
dreams are so crazy sometimes.
i dont even like those guys i just watch em sometimes but i do like stephen king.

anyway, while reading the book images start popping up like it was a television show but you control how fast it would go because somehow it depends on the reader.
ray romano argued with mike rowe and ray socked 'im in the kisser haha. mike rowe fought back and i was lost after that.

there was one scene where they were both parachuting down from somewhere and there was this chick who wanted to kill ray, ray was like no way holmes and I dont know where it came
from but there were suddenly missiles fired and heading towards the girl. she died i think and there was this dude with her and i dont know what was up with him. he was just there.

the last pages of the book were all black pages with letters, the letters were cut from the pages. they were names i think, probably the writers or producers, like credits.
i saw Eagles in there. i liked eagles, the band, me and my dad both.

thats it

this is where things get pretty weird

we found something that gives immense power for a price. i write something because i cannot recall specifically what it was, but my best guess would be a book.
My brother said not to get powers from it because it comes with a curse, but we accidentally got some and so did my mom.

the ability my mom got was she could freely talk to spirits, but the price was she had to sing every night to a dead girl right outside our bedroom, something like a ritual
she's supposed to do every night. it was creepy because in the dream i would wake up to singing and would realize that it was my mom singing to the dead girl in the middle of the night.
she doesn't know that she has the power and she doesn't know the girl is dead but she's compelled to sing to her anyway.

yeeeeesh right? hahaha.

my brother got the power of knowledge of all things and I also forgot the price to pay for that.

eventually mom went crazy and i told my brother that i should get a power too so i can help her, he was against it but i persisted.
he had the knowledge of everything so he had a way to bypass the curse in the thing that gave immense power.

he gave me part of the knowledge power he had so now i'm super smart too.
I fainted after the transfer and my first person view was all high tech and things, like the iron man view when he had the helmet on.
"Okay, let's test this out" my brother says
he says something and I hear it, I respond "What?"
and he goes "this is a telepathic message, i guess it worked"
which was cool i thought if it was for real haha.
