Thread: Ethanreid's Workbook

Hey guys! So excited I finally found a good community where I can come and chat with people about LD'ing! For some reason, I find stuff like this almost seems taboo to talk about.. I don't really know why, because it's honestly one of the coolest things you can do! Controlling your own dreams, living out your wildest fantasies, or talking to you subconscious and meditating while you're asleep? It seems too crazy to even be real. But, here we are.

Anyways, I'm pretty new to this but I've been reading my butt off learning about LD'ing and different techniques used, so I'm looking forward to learning more through this course.

Reality Checks:
- Making a circle with my index finger and thumb, and putting them together to create a chain; then trying to pull them apart.
- Trying to push my finger through my hand
- Count my fingers
(and, of course, asking myself if I'm dreaming.. But I feel like that one may be unreliable?)

Dream Signs:
- Music. I'm a huge music guy so I often will dream of rockstars or hear their music playing
- Girls. Self explanatory, past girlfriends or just girls I know.
- Family, mostly my Dad. We spend a lot of time together.

Short-Term Goals:
- To achieve a lucid dream
- Remember all (or most) of my dreams

Long-Term Goals:
- Be able to efficiently lucid dream when I want (with as much success as possible)
- Fly
- To know what it feels like to experience things I wouldn't normally be able to experience(Or hope to, so I can compare the real thing to the dream)

Lucid/Dream Recall History:
- Never been good at recalling dreams, except for a select few. There are two dreams, I think, that I have ever been able to remember over time, both from my childhood. One is from when I was 5 or so, I was chased into my closet by a little devil stuffed animal I used to own. Another one is a dream I've had maybe three or so times since I was younger than 8 where I'm in a field or grassy area and there is a white angel-like little girl who is floating around me.

Current Technique:
- WILD WBTB method
- DJ
