      Acmic's Workbook

      Reality Checks:
      - Hands
      - Clock

      Dream Signs:
      - Haven't noticed any yet
      Very new to this

      Short-Term Goals:
      Have my first lucid dream!

      Long-Term Goals:
Be able to have a high amount of LDs in a short span (eg 3-4 a week)

I also REALLY want to fly

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
I have good dream recall but no lucid dreams unfortunately

      Current Technique:
I've been too scared to do WILD because of Insidious, so just DILD.
I don't do WBTB on purpose, although I have just recently unintentionally began waking up around 2:00 AM.

Remembered a dream and 2 fragments last night, recall is already getting better!

I think I was close to gaining lucidity at one point in my dream last night, but I don't remember if I did or not.
I could tell that I was about to wake up though, and I think I realized I was asleep. The dream started fading, I remember that.

      Thanks

      I have a question

When I wake up in the middle of the night, I'll often remember a dream or a fragment, but I'm just too tired to record it and hope I'll still remember it when I wake up next. Most of the time, I don't.

What should I do in this situation?

Holy cow! I remembered 4 dreams last night and 5 FAs, but more importantly, my FIRST LUCID DREAM! (as soon as I woke up, I would write down keywords of my dream in chronological order to jog my memory when writing it for my dream journal), and when I finally woke up for real, I had 4 dreams written down.

However, I had a SUPER weird chain of FAs, has this ever happened to you before?
I "woke up" from a dream and both of my dogs ran into my room almost immediately, jumped on my bed, and started barking at the door. I was kinda freaking out at this point, and then the girl from this picture
      Spoiler for spooky picture:

peeked her head inside the door.
I began yelling that she wasn't real, although my voice was very hoarse and was barely coming out. A voice said that I had passed the first FA, and that I had 20 more to go until I could wake up for real.

Almost immediately after he said that, again, I "woke up" in my bed. Dogs weren't in this one. My dad walked into the room. Nothing creepy happened, then the voice came back again, saying I had passed.
Don't remember what the third one was, although I do remember it happened.
The fourth FA I had consisted not of a person, but of disco walls. All of my walls were replaced by one of those disco floor things that change colors. So, my walls were having a seizure and changing colors every millisecond, before I finally woke up for real.

Here's my DJ for the night:

Well done, Acmic! Congrats on the ld!

Yes, I have on few occassions experienced a series of FAs. I think the maximum was 5 and I was able to turn the last two into lds. These can be pretty crazy indeed.

If you want to journal these, just keep a pad nearby - on the bed drawer or in the bathroom, wherever is most convenient and just tag a few key words or a sentence so that you will remember the next day. Otherwise, you may just journal after your final wake. Either way is fine.
