      I understand a WILD, but when do i use it?

      So i know how to WILD, but do i start my relaxing, clearing my mind, and concentration on 1 thing at night when i 1st go to bed, or after ive gotten my 5 1/2 to 7 hours of sleep?

      answer me this and i think i can LD. ive had many Hypnagogic Hallucinations before, i just wake up soon after

      Between 5 - 6 hours in to sleep seems to be the sweet spot for most people. The reason is that you want to wake up before your longest REM period of the night. When you go back to bed, you should enter REM very soon after falling asleep. Then there are afternoon naps. If your body doesn't need NREM sleep, it will enter REM sleep, which means you stand a good chance of entering REM shortly after falling asleep.

      Knowing when to do it and why doesn't guarantee success though. The trick seems to be getting good at entering sleep paralysis and keeping your mind at the right level of awareness to avoid falling asleep normally. Haven't had any luck with it yet myself. Good luck though!!

      Let me ask you guys this: If you aren't aiming to WILD, should you still get in the habit of waking up after 5-6 hours?
      As children we believe anything is possible. As adults, we need to remember it.

      id be fine with WILDing. i typically wake up after 6 hours to use the bathroom everynight
