      Question A couple of questions

      Hello! First post here

      So I'm wondering a couple of things;

      1. I'm afraid of rollercoasters, which I don't want to be anymore, so I'm wondering if I, in a lucid dream, can "teleport" to my local theme park and try this rollercoaster? Will it be the same feeling? Will I be able to remember it correctly?

      2. How often should I pinch my nose (Dreamsign or whatever)?, currently I do it a couple times every minute.

      3. What is the average time before someone can start becoming lucid? I know it's very different from person to person but approximately?

      Cheers.

      Hello

      1. As long as you have been on a rollercoaster, you should have the same feeling as real life. Remembering it depends on how clear the dream is.

      2. Once every hour/thirty minutes does it for me

      3. It is different for everyone. There is no average time but I would say any number of days, weeks, months or even years.

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately though, I haven't been on this particular rollercoaster. But maybe you were talking about rollercoasters in general?

And from now on I will only pinch my nose every half an hour or so.

Happy to help I would go on very slow rollercoasters at first if I were you. You don't want to frighten yourself!

About the rollercoaster, the feeling (if you have never been on one), will be what you brain imagines how it is. You'll probably feel the wind and the motion.

The main purpose of the reality check is to confirm your dreaming. Do when something odd or strange happens, and every hour should be fine.

Can take one day. One moth, a lot of months, a year. Vary on how hard you are trying, your motivation, your methods.

      Thanks for the info!

Currently I'm aiming towards getting Lucid through doing RC's and writing in a Dreamjournal. What else is there to do to get Lucid faster?

      Cheers.

There are several ways of becoming lucid you should read the tutorials. The best way for a beginner is to keep a dream journal and to do reality checks, I heard (i'm also new) but if you check out the tutorials you may find one which suits your REM cycles or even your everyday life. This happens with me because I have always woken up after one of my REM cycles for my whole life so I'm going to try slip back in or practice WILDs. I hope this helps?
