Reality checks still not understood

I read the "Reality Checks Tuturial" but still do not think i'm performing them properly. I fully understand how they would work but when i'm not dreaming i don't know what i'm supposed to think about at that time. Any help would be appreciated. P.S. i'm too new to get 'adopted' =) Thanks

P.S. i'm too new to get 'adopted' =) Thanks As I have understod it you are supposed to do different things when you are awake which will then happen automatically in your dream. Like pinching your nose and trying to breathe through it. Currently I'm doing the nose thing every 30 minutes or so. Cheers.

What you need to think ? See your environment as you were dreaming. Examine your surroundings. Try to get something odd, that may point that you are dreaming. Then you proceed with the reality check for confirmation that you are in fact dreaming or not. This actions will, hopefully, carried into the dreamworld.

Thanks to both of you that really helped. But for 'Kelron' I know the reality checks I just wasn't sure what mindset to be in when performing them. Thanks a lot though guys
