Hello, lots of info to share.

Im a long time lucid dreamer with large gaps between them. My very first on was when i was about 10. Im 33 now. I remember being able to fly around the inside of of my home from corner to corner. I was able to control this for about 3 nights over a month ? I have thought about this in years !

My next experience was when i was in my early 20's. I was able to as i put it " come alive in my dreams". And what i did in my dreams is for a rated R thread. Im sure im not the only one who got jiggy with it in thier dreams. I was able to control my actions or as you guys call it "lucid dreaming". I could chsnge any thing i wanted. I knew i was dreaming and i could remain calm control it. This lasted about 2 months. Im now 33. Have not dreamed like i used to. Im a paramedic and i get woken up at all times of the night. What reminded me of my past experience was a dream i had right before getting a call at 2 am. I was almost able to "wake up in my dream again"

Thanks for reading. Sorry for typo im on iphone just after sn ems call and i just had to share my thoughts before i went back to sleep, and hopefully for the rest of the night.

Welcome to dreamviews! Have a nice stay.

It seems you have had very few lucid dreams in your whole life, but you have a nearly perfect job (in my humble opinion) for one technique. The technique is WILD'ing (Wake Initiated Lucid Dream) with WBTB (Wake-Back to Bed). It requires you to wake up at the middle of the night just before or during your REM sleep and stay awake for some time. It seems your job does just that!
Try browsing the Attaining Lucidity section and check out. Maybe you're a lucky one!

Welcome and good luck. If you've had LDs spontaneously in the past, you have very good chances of getting back in the game. I'm about the same age, and I've found over the years that just focusing more attention on my dreams and reading other people's lucid experiences can bring me much more frequent LDs.
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Hopefully you can share some of your experience with us. Having a wacky sleep schedule might help you with your dreams. I have the best dreams when my sleep patterns get messed up.
