Hello!
I am excited to have joined you all here, in hopes that I can attain lucidity in my dreams, hopefully tonight!
My name is Chris, and I'm a Film and Media Arts major at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. I'm 18 years old.
I ultimately joined this website because I've been having difficulty attaining lucidity in my dreams. Ever since i downloaded iDoser several years ago and saw "Lucid" as one of the doses, I started to research, and attempt lucid dreaming. However, i sort of gave up on that.
Now, since watching Inception, and reading that Christopher Nolan (director) lucid dreams and received his ideas from lucid dreams, I've decided to give it a go again. I understand that I can't share my dreams, although that'd be pretty darn awesome, but i have heard of the possibilities and the creativity i can release through them, and, being a writer, would like to experience that.
I recently downloaded some MP3s for induction and hypnosis that is supposed to aid me in achieving lucidity, however, it has failed. But i have noticed that my ability to recall my dreams has greatly increased, and the amount of dreams i'm having seems to have gone up as well.
For example, last night i woke up at around 3 a.m. from a dream, i stayed awake for a few minutes to recall the dream, then decided to go to sleep again, telling myself that i would become lucid once i begin dreaming. that didn't happen, and i awoke again, only to fall asleep, dream some more, and wake up for good disappointed that another night had gone by without lucid dreaming.
hopefully some of you kind souls could help me in my lucid journey
