I also get frustrated when that happens, somtimes I even RC and think "I'm dreaming!" but don't actually realise it, and carry on as normal

I once thought I was dreaming and tried to do my nose RC. Too much snot came flying out of my nose that I couldn't decide if I was breathing through my plugged nose or not. I decided to give up on that, and proceed to show my friend how I can grow fingers on my hand at will. I even watched a finger grow inbetween my other fingers, I still can't believe I didn't catch that.

xD yeah I hate that shit hey. i find that verbalising the fact that I'm dreaming works like a charm, everything all of a sudden becomes alot more vivid upon doing so. its great fun to say it out loud when there are dream characters around and they look at you and are either like "hey cool you really dreaming!" or "wtf man?". if they doubt me, i always have to prove it by doing some Cris Angel shit infront of them, otherwise they can trick me.
I had a dream last night in which some chick was giving me her phone number. she handed me a letter and all the words were scrambled but before I could stop to think anything of it, she interupted my thought process with, "you're reading it wrong!". she flipped the page over so I could see the imprint of the mess she'd written on the other side and showed that if I looked at it that way, I could see numbers throughout it, that'd she'd written backwards on the other side, on purpose. I was too busy giggling at how creative her idea was to realise how ridiculous that someone would ever think to give someone their number like that lol

Remember that also about awareness and not just dream signs. After all, if you aren't aware enough in the first place, you won't notice your dream signs. So as you "get back into the habit", also try getting into the habit of really being aware of what's around you. Randomly throughout the day, question whether you're dreaming, not just when you see something strange.

Exactly what Puffin said! You should be more aware of your real life and reality checking to anything that seems weird. Eventually once you get into the habit of it, you will start to become more aware in your dreams.

haha thanks man. i figure whilst I'm exploring the dream world I may as well have some fun too. it's only in a dream where you can make those things happen instantly, with some practice of course, but when i complete them ill be sure to document it online lol
