      Ello

      Hello
Like many other people the movie Inception gave me knowledge of lucid dreaming (by researching after i saw the movie). Well researching i found this website. I thought that lucid dreaming would take years to master but after reading threads here i decided to make a dream journal and try everything out.

Right now my dreams are extremely vivid the last few dreams i can remember were bits and pieces of below.

      - I dreamed (for what i remember as less than a minute) i was a serial killer because i am currently watching the T.V series "Dexter". < lols

      - I dreamed i was in a big building (with a room much higher than reality) that i went to as a kid, i was jumping on a trampoline so high and i grabbed the bars on the roof. At this point was in the state when your about to sleep, suddenly the floor went very far away and i will still abit conscious but the whole concept of lucid dreaming left my mind and i got extremely scared but from this point on i can't remember anything.

      - When i tired hard to lucid dream from some techniques (I.E fingers) i feel asleep but all i remember was just a black screen from the minute i woke up, not just black like when you close your eyes but like if someone got a black screen at put it right up to your eyes so you couldn't see anything else.

The main reason i would like to start lucid dreaming is because i am struggling with a few personal things about myself and i finally thought i figured out everything then i had a dream (which I'd rather not describe :B) where something happened now I'm starting to feel lots of different things and it's all confusing me so that is the main reason i would like to start lucid dreaming.

Anyways, i hope i can learn a lot of things here and start to remember my dreams for vividly.

(Sorry for the long-ass introduction )

Well welcome to Dreamviews! Actually how long it takes to learn to lucid dream depends on the person and how much effort you put into it. Usually it doesnt take as long as 2 years but sometimes it does! Anyway looks like your getting the hang of it! Good luck to you!

I finally saw Inception the other day, too. It was awesome I see why it has made so many people excited about dreaming. Keep working on that recall, and you'll start remembering amazing dreams in no time. It just takes a little attention. Your dreams will be WAY BETTER than anything in that movie
