Apparently taking LSD can boost your dream recall (not taking LSD every time before you sleep but taking it once or twice in your life) |

How long does it take for you to build up your dream recall so you can recall every aspect of the dream. Right know I know that I was dreaming and I know some of what happened but details that I want to know I can no longer remember. By the way, last night I had my first taste of controlling my dream I changed the size of an object. I only know this because I did it right before I woke up so I was obviously in REM. It was pretty fancy I really enjoyed the little taste that I got of it and I can not wait until I have mastered this art. So far this community has helped me in recalling because I used to not remember anything about my dreams and I thank every single one of you guys for that. One more question, how long do you think it'll take before I have mastered dream recall and dream control. |

After I take time off, it takes me a week or two to get back to 100%. Normally, I get lazy and it ends up taking a little longer |

Everyone's different, so I couldn't tell you how long it will take for you to "master" dream recall. The biggest thing is to be persistent in writing your dreams down in as much detail as possible. If you haven't yet, you could set an alarm to wake you in the middle of the night so you have another opportunity to write down a dream. It's up to you. |

I always set an alarm 5 hours after bedtime. |
