Okay, update!

Last night, I finally had a real lucid dream! I'm really excited because I made things appear and disappear AND I opened up a portal. I was in a parking lot and kept making the cars go away and then come back into existence, haha.

Tonight I'm hoping for another stroke of luck. Last time I used a combination of MILD/WILD techniques, i guess you could say, because I tried to do a MILD, failed, woke up, and tried the WILD steps. When I fell asleep I was lucid! My tip is to do a lot of reality checks during the day, especially of the nose pinch variety. Before bed set an alarm for about 5 or 6. Go to bed around 11 and say a mantra to yourself over and over again. If you don't have an LD during the first 6-7 hours of sleep, when the alarm goes off, you can repeat your mantra for about 5 minutes and then attempt a WILD. I'm going to do this all over again tonight and see what i come up with!
