Hi everyone, my name is sammy. I guess I should describe how I ended up here. Well, last night me and a few friends went to see the new Christopher Nolan film 'Inception', and it's been on my mind ever since. See, I have a huge fascination with dreams and the abilities of the brain. Almost every day I think about the concept of dreams at least once. With all this very fresh on my mind, I decided to Google 'lucid dreams', and this site came up.. I've been reading on it for the past hour or so now, and I'm fascinated. I'm very interested in attempting to induce lucid dreams, but my main issue is remembering my dreams at all. It isn't very often that I remember my dreams without waking up in the middle of it, but I want to figure out how to do so regardless. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yeah, Fight Club is my favorite movie of all time, but after I view Inception a few more times I think it might take that title away. |

Fight Club's my favourite movie too, along with a few other titles. Lol, and no problem. |

So I believe that I had my first lucid dream, though the lucidity of it all lasted about 10 seconds before I awoke from excitement. |

Congrats, however short it may have been! My first ones were short too. |
