      Thumbs up Hello, Dreamviews community.

Hi everyone, my name is sammy. I guess I should describe how I ended up here. Well, last night me and a few friends went to see the new Christopher Nolan film 'Inception', and it's been on my mind ever since. See, I have a huge fascination with dreams and the abilities of the brain. Almost every day I think about the concept of dreams at least once. With all this very fresh on my mind, I decided to Google 'lucid dreams', and this site came up.. I've been reading on it for the past hour or so now, and I'm fascinated. I'm very interested in attempting to induce lucid dreams, but my main issue is remembering my dreams at all. It isn't very often that I remember my dreams without waking up in the middle of it, but I want to figure out how to do so regardless.

Anyway, I'm rambling at this point. I just wanted to stop by and make my presence known as I attempt to make practice of this. So stop by and say hi, make me feel welcome.

      Hi Sammy,

      to Dreamviews!

I saw Inception too, it was a pretty good film.

If you're having issues with remembering your dreams, try lying in bed with your eyes closed right after waking, and think up different words such as "cat", or "school", and see if any of them relate to a dream you had that night. Who knows, you might remember something. You can also try drinking a glass of apple juice an hour or so before bed, or take vitamin B6 supplements to help make your dreams more vivid and memorable.

If you have any other questions I'd be happy to help.
      Good luck! (:

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yeah, Fight Club is my favorite movie of all time, but after I view Inception a few more times I think it might take that title away. But back on topic, thank you for giving me a proper greeting and the advice along with it. I'll keep it in mind on tonight's adventure. (I'm such a dork. XD)

Hopefully I stick around for a while and become a regular to both the forum and LD'ing.

Fight Club's my favourite movie too, along with a few other titles. Lol, and no problem.

So I believe that I had my first lucid dream, though the lucidity of it all lasted about 10 seconds before I awoke from excitement.

Check my DJ if you're interested at all.

Congrats, however short it may have been! My first ones were short too.
I'll be sure to check the entry out.
