Much of the times I wake up, I cant seem to remember the details from my dream. Lately, because of college, I haven't been able to keep a DJ, but now I am on vacations, I am trying to start keeping one. The problem about all this is that usually, I wake up with my phones alarm, and to shutdown the alarm my dream is interrupted to fast and I easily forget it. Sometimes it is my mother that wakes me up and that way it is impossible to remember the dream.
When this happens, I lay in my bed and close my eyes, but only 2 things happen, or I fall asleep or I can't seem to remember what my dream was about. Sometimes, during the morning I get up and something I see triggers my memory about the dream but this is very rare.
1)What should I do?
2)Which is the best way to wakeup enough to remember a dream but still not falling asleep?
3)Is there a better way to remember dreams? I have heard about people that wakeup after each REM phase so they can write down the dream.
