Having trouble LD for the first time...

I began to develop an interest in LDs about a month ago due to a friend of mine. He consistently has vivd and long (2+ hours) LDs in the morning when he wakes up for rowing practice. I knew about LDs before he told me about his experiences, however he reignited my interest. In my search for LDs I came across this board after and have been thoroughly researching since.

That being said, I have yet to experience a LD (Or at least remember one). I did once wake up into sleep paralysis so I know the feeling, but that is the extent of my experience. Truth be told I'm not really sure what method to use or how to start. If anyone could throw me some advice it would be most appreciated.

      Thanks

      Hi hge to DV.

I would recommend starting out with DILD, seeing as it is the best technique for beginners.

      Hi, welcome to Dreamviews! (:
I agree with Goldenaxel and recommend you start out with DILD. It's one of the easier techniques to learn, and doesn't involve sleep paralysis or anything too strenuous.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
