      My Dreams Are Just Outlines

When I dream or I assume that's what it is I am awake basically. Like my eyes somewhat want to open but if open them I wake up. I assume this means I am on the edge of conciousness. This is the period when I think I mist be dreaming. However I don't experience my dreams as people describe them feeling like real
life. It simply is like thoughts in my head there is no visual aspect to them. Am I dreaming? If so why are they like this? Am I just remembering my dreams and awake at the time?

Seems kinda a special case. Go through the MILD/DILD tutorials and start practicing. The problem with you may be the inability for Dream Recall.
      to DV and Good Luck!!!

To fulfill your Dreams, you have to Wake up.

Maybe you don't visualize as much as others do? Or, it could simply be recall like SillyDreamer said.
You can find all DV tutorials here.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

The most likely explanation is that you only remember the dreams as outlines. They are probably vivid at the time, but you forget everything except for the basic story. Work on improving your dream recall using a dream journal, and see if your dreams start to change.

This could sound really stupid, and im sorry if it does. But are you sure your not day dreaming? When i day dream i can visualize it all, not in the same clarity as a dream and i dont feel it, but the visuals are kind of the same? again sorry if this sounds stupid, but you reminded me of me daydreaming, hope this helped????
