If you are in SP, you wont be able to do so, thus you will know your answer.

If are aren't in SP, you will be able to move them. Since it is your toe or finger, a fragment of your body, your Stage will go uninterrupted. You will notice that the rest of you is still heavy, even the arm that you use to wiggle your finger. Within maybe 30sec, you will return to where you were. It acts as a twitch in a manner of sense. Now if you were to move your hand or arm, that is different.
