      Physical Effects Of WILD techniques

      Hey

When i first attempted the WILD technique, i ignored all the tests that my brain made to see if my body was awake, the itching, the "changing position order", and the opening of the eyes...

I ignored all that...and then, about 15 minutes after i started (i was filming myself, so i was able to relate how long i took), my body made a violent shook-up, that my feet and my hands lifted about 3 inches from the surface of my bed. I was not unconscient, or sleeping, and it came without a warning...

I made this thread for other people to share physical and psychological reactions of their first time experimenting the WILD (or other) method

Thanks in advance for your experiences

Was that sleep paralysis? If not, it was probably a hypnagogic jerk, which sometimes happens when you get very relaxed.

The first time I WILDed... I woke up in a different bed, and this immediately tipped me off that I successfully managed to get past SP. I spent the dream exploring and trying to fly, which didn't work, but I got the hang of it in lucid dreams after that.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

A few times when Ive been laying down, it has felt like a person twice my size had walked up to me, grabbed me by the arms/shoulders, and began to jerk/shake me. I was being violently moved around. It was so intense I opened my eyes thinking that someone was actually there, nothing.
