So I guess I'll have to introduce myself

I'm Sean. I've had 1 accidental lucid dream about a year ago, but I read something about it a few weeks ago that got me interested in this.

I've been keeping a DJ for a week now and I've developed a rather good dream recall. (I can remember almost every night).
The second night of keeping my DJ I dreamed about something really weird and I though by myself: "Is this a dream?" and I opened my eyes so I woke up.. Missed chance?

No lucid dream yet, sadly. I hope I'll be getting one soon, though I didn't write down my dream this morning because my tendon in my right arm hurted like hell (inflammated by playing too much bass).

      So... hi.

Thx, I see you're new here too. :p Reality checks are my biggest problem... I only think about it when I read about it like now. Anyone got any tips about reality checks? I usually pinch myself.

Sean, try writing the letter "A" on your hand (for awake), it will remind you to do your reality checks. Also, don't just pinch, prove to yourself that you are asleep. Think, "How did I get here?" Another great realiy check is to pinch your nose shut, close your mouth, and try to breathe. if you can still breathe, than you are asleep! Do all these repetitively during the day, and whenever you see that "A" on your hand. Eventually it will become a habit and you will achieve lucidity before you know it!
