      Hi, welcome to Dreamviews!

DILD is a good method for beginners (there's a tutorial linked in my signature that focuses on simple awareness to induce lucids). If you're looking for a challenge, I suggest WILD but it can take practice to get a lucid dream from it. Not to mention it may be frightening because it involves entering sleep paralysis.

Also, I wouldn't recommend any electronic gadgets that claim to induce lucid dreams, because from what I've researched they're useless without awareness; in that case you can just use the DILD technique.

Before starting to LD you should have fair dream recall, or the ability to remember dreams. I'd recommend remembering at least one a night for starters. If you have trouble remembering dreams, take some vitamin B6 or drink some apple juice; both are known to improve dream vividness. Stay still in bed for a few moments after waking up with your eyes closed, and focus, trying to remember what you dreamed about. Staying put helps keep your brain in dream mode, holding onto dream memories.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

      Good luck!

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
