      Just need some advice.

So for about the past 2 weeks, I have been able to remember 1 dream every night. Before I go to sleep, I always repeat, "Tonight, when I sleep, I'll control my dream." Well, in these two weeks, I haven't had a lucid dream. Am I getting close to being able to have one or is it still gonna take a while? What more should I do?

Not becoming lucid within two weeks of starting isn't a bad thing; some people just take longer than others.

Practice awareness. Lucidity's mainly caused by sudden awareness within the dream, so it's key to practice being skeptical about whether you're really dreaming. Autosuggestion can help in some cases; although I don't use it myself, it does work for some people. Do a reality check when you wake up in the morning, and get into bed at night. Dreams feel real when we're in them and we don't usually question if we're dreaming or not, so you have to do this in real life. The skepticism will carry over into your dreams.

There's more info on awareness in "Puffin's DILD guide" linked in my signature.

      Good luck! :3
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
