      Hi all!

      Hi all!

I'm new to this forum. I discovered a few days back that there actually is a well know phenomena called sleep paralysis. Ive been having this many times since i was a little kid...the paralysis, the feeling of something evil present, the vibrations feeling like mild electricity being applied to the area around my kidneys (sounds nice, huh?).
The first time it was really scary, but i quickly discovered that this was a harmless state and that it could lead to lucid dreams. Ive have asked friends and family about this, but they've never experienced similar or heard of it. So I stopped investigating it further...until a few days back.
I've developed methods to get lucid dreams on my own, independent of any books what so ever. So believe me discovering this site and forum and having my experiences and methods confirmed...well...its just crazy . It really made me happy. I've been looking roughly through the forum and I'm just overwhelmed. I'm looking forward to get into the details, different techniques and get to know you guys.
Yesterday I had my first WILD in many years(just a new word I've learned), not having done an attempt in a long time. It's nice and a relief to see that The Force is still with me...haha.

      Happy lucid dreaming!

      Hey, welcome to DV!
Your avatar reminds me of a place in a dream I had not too long ago, and it also looks cool
And you have Sleep Paralysis come to you naturally? That's awesome.

I would love to be a WILD natural, but, unfortunately, I'm not. And speaking of your avatar, you probably don't know that another user already has that as their avatar (you probably got it off of Google images---I've seen it there myself.). Try delving deeper into the list of images; you might even find one that's better!

Thanks! Yeah I have them coming naturally every now and then. But i can also make them come by meditating, not always but often.

But that was a snapshot i took during my last WILD!
      All right then..I'll change it.

Welcome!! It's good to hear that you're able to conquer your SP and that it doesn't scare you anymore! I too, am envious of your natural WILDs

Sleep paralysis is what first got me interested in lucid dreaming, also. I used to get it all the time as a kid.
