      new to this

      Hello all, just found this forum, heard from a friend about lucid dreaming and now I'm very interested in trying it, not sure how to start off, would really appreciate a push in the right direction

      Hello, welcome.

      You should start with the DILD technique, look at the tutorials - there is a great tutorial made by the user Puffin for this technique. After a couple of lucids, you can go for techniques like WILD or other of your interest.

      Start a dream journal and try to improve your dream recall, that is, being able to remember your dreams. When I first started out I found the tutorial on the homepage very helpful and informative.
