      Oh hai.. I'm new :)

A friend recommended this site to me, and now heree I am.

The only thing I'm interested in is learning to have sex dreams. I've had a few really amazing oragams in my dreams before and I'd love to have them again, especically since I'm not sexually active right now.. sorry if that's TMI.

By the way, I'm a girl

      Hi Larry, welcome to Dreamviews!

Lucid dreams require a certain amount of control, which comes from simple expectations. Once you get a lucid dream, all you have to do is expect whatever you want to happen, well, to happen. Expect a guy to walk up to you, expect someone to be behind the door. You know.

It helps to visualize things beforehand too, in the form of daydreaming.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Hey uhh... Larry Welcome to DreamViews

There are plenty of other things you can be doing. You sure you don't want to try flying over some city lights or something?

Well either way, first thing is first which is the basics. Do you have a dream journal?

Thanks guys for your replies. No I don't have a dream journal, is that something I should do? And I'm sure I don't want to fly over buildings or anything lol.

Just in general it would be nice to learn to control my dreams, especially those bad ones. I have dreams where I'm trying to scream or run but i can't! Is that something I could learn to control? Those dreams are the most frustrating.

Larry, you can do anything in your dreams. I've used to it battle a nightmare and got surprising results. My girlfriend got kidnapped by this guy, so I chased him, but I knew I was dreaming and remembered something from the book I was reading (Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge). Confront the thing that is ruining your dream life. So I went up to the guy and simply shook his hand. Just that turned the whole dream around, and this kidnapper was like my best friend... Yeah, weird.

Yes, your dream journal is important for recall and recognizing dream signs (content that can tell you that you are dreaming). Reality checks are also important.

You know what? Just read what's in the Wiki section at the top of the page.
