[WILD] Transition from SP to dream.

      Hi,

I've been practicing RC's and WILD for about 2 weeks now and have also started to keep a DJ. I've had one DILD so far, and yesterday I had my second successful WILD.
I'm quite pleased with my progress, my dream recall has also improved alot (I only used to remember like one dream a month, now it's one per night)

SP comes very easy to me, and both WILD's I had were very vivid, so this is what I'm currently putting most of my focus into.
As I said, I find getting into SP very easy, especially when I'm tired. For example, if I WBTB it takes me 2 minutes at most to get into deep SP.
Unfortunately I don't really know to progress from there.

I was wondering if some of you could try to explain how they experience the transition from SP into a dream? I realize this may be different for everyone, but maybe it will help

This is how I experienced the transition the 2 times I had a WILD:
Whilst in deep SP, I feel a light tickling in my limbs.
Usually it also feels like something heavy is resting on my body.
Sometimes I also see Blue/Red clouds swirling or moving about.
Rarely I hear a sound, usually a whisper.

Then suddenly, I loose the sensation of being in my bed (this is hard to explain).
It's like all of a sudden, gravity no longer exists, I cannot feel the bed anymore, and my mind starts to wander uncontrolled.
I think of completely random things, usually things I've never seen before, fictional events, but also sometimes memories of the current day or something that's on my mind.
I cannot see these things clearly, it's more like knowing they're there, and there's often a faint image.
This usually lasts for only a few seconds, then it feels like "my mind is switched back on". I know I'm still in bed, I can feel gravity again etc.

The only 2 times I managed to transition into a dream were pretty violent. As I again felt like "my mind was wandering aimlessly", I suddenly realized the existence of my dream body and it got catapulted violently into "nothingness". I then "land in my dream". The first time was less violent, I only got catapulted a few meters out of bed, the second time I fell from a good 100m down to the ground (it didn't hurt of course, I also wasn't scared whatsoever)

Does it feel anything like that for you? How do you experience the transition from SP into a dream? What are your tricks to accelerate this transition?

      Cheers,
      Hyu

The random things that pass by your mind are HI (hypnagogia), as the sounds. When in this state, start to imagine a dreamscene with tactile sensations, not only visual.

I can't give an example of myself, I tried WILD for two months with no success.
