If laying on your back isn't comfortable, you don't have to wild on your. Do it on whatever position is confortable. And make sure your not focusing on the counting that much. Just have it on the back of you mind as you drift off to sleep. |

So... I tried out the WILD Technique last night. I fell asleep at 12:30 and woke up at 4 am to attempt WILD. I lied on my back, concentrated on my breathing, said to myself "one. the next scene will be a dream. two. the next scene...", and even had some binaural beats playing. |

Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

Forget about trying to enter SP when you are trying to WILD. The only time I was able to somewhat enter SP was when I gave up and started to let my mind wander. I ended up failing because once I hit the wave of vibrations it kind of scared me because i didn't really know what to expect and I flinched when it happened. Then I realized what it was and i started to smile and that threw me out, but basically go to sleep with your mind on something other then your attempt at trying to WILD, with emphasis on GOING TO SLEEP. There is a very good tutorial on how to WILD on this site where the thread starter states most reasons why us beginners fail. Basically, don't move your eyes to watch the HI and don't think about entering SP, just let it come to you. That has been the only way that I was able to get something out of it. I have layed in bed for hours and all I got was fingers frozen in a position and tingly legs. |
