Hi, welcome to Dreamviews
1.)What is the best technique to do when wanting a lucid dream?
I'd suggest DILD for beginners; it's the easiest and basically involves raising your awareness and skeptisism as to whether or not you could be dreaming at this very instant. WILD is good too, but sleep paralysis might be frightening or unnerving at first.
2.)When I wake up from a lucid dream, is it possible to go back to sleep and pick up right where I left off in the dream?
Yes, it's called DEILD - basically, not moving or opening your eyes right after you wake up (it's easy to tell when you wake up because you can feel the dream ending), and imagining sensations from the previous dream, like touch, sight, and smell. You might not end up in the exact same dream unless you can picture it perfectly, but you can always teleport. Sometimes you can feel a sudden acceleration as you're dropped back into the dream, which is pretty cool.
3.)When in a lucid dream, do I start off in a scenario or do I have to create it on my own?
Usually in a DILD, you become lucid when you're already in the dream. In a WILD, you enter a dream and are lucid right away, which means you have to create your own scenario or let your mind create one. You can change the scenario very easily through expectations; just expect something to happen and it will, such as knowing that you'll be able to fly; you will be able to.
4.)Can I change my appearance and structure when having a lucid dream? Because I'm hoping to try to look like Kratos from God of War.
Yes, most people refer to this as "shapeshifting". It boils down to expectations again; for instance, if you hold your arm out and expect it to be that of an alien or other creature, it probably will be. It helps to visualize it well when trying to do this.
5.)This one DOES NOT have to do with lucid dreaming, and should probably go into my dream journals but this dream happened years ago when I was around 6 or 8...
The bush could definitely have been a premonition, although I also think it could've just been an ordinary dream. Sometimes dreams are difficult to interpret, depending on the background of the person experiencing said dream.
