      Wild

Hi, I am experienced about lucid dreaming, but have never had a lucid dream. I heard somewhere that you can do the WILD technique the first thing as you try to go to sleep at night. Is this true?

WILD's are possible before any sleep at all but it is extreeeeemmmllyyy difficult, also, the dream will look like crap, last like 1 minute, ect. So why not get up before an REM period to try and WILD?

I will also add that learning to WILD is very difficult but in the end is worth it 100%

I agree with rynkrt3, WILDs are hard to master, but if you do, boy you're lucky. The good thing about WILDs is that if you learn to have them at will, then you don't rely on luck, as with DILDs. The thing with WILDs is that you should do it somewhere between 4 and 6 hours after going to sleep. By this I mean set an alarm... let's say at 4:30 (if you go to bed somewhere between 10pm and 12). You get up, stay awake for some time (I prefer half an hour, I know some people who stay up for 2 hours), and then go back to sleep and WILD.
