      Returning with a few questions.

Well I've been thinking and I have really missed trying to lucid dream. Before I return and start my online DJ, I would like to increase my dream recall to a respectable state. Thus leads to these questions.*

-Would reading a book right before sleep be good or will it not allow me to fall asleep as fast as wanted?

-same as above except with anime/tv shows.*

-Drawing/sketching DC's and surroundings from my dreams; will it help recall?*

      Thank you.*

      -Peace.*

I would say that drawing/sketching whatever you see in dreams to pictures would help recalling them, but I am not sure.

And well, watching TV or being on a computer before going to bed is not going to help with falling asleep, kinda the opposite.

I think it's kinda the same with reading, because your brain activity increases (or something), but I am not sure. (Again.)
      Lucid dreaming goals:

Fly( ) Tame a recurring wolf that has been in about 10 different dreams/nightmares ( ) Fly on a Night Fury from HTTYD ( ) Ask my subconscious why I have so many nightmares ( )
Fight agent Smith ( ) Ride a huge spider to a battle against a beenest ( ) Face all of my nightmare creatures and beat them ( ) Be a god ( )

Reading is a good way of getting tired in my experience.

Anything that will keep your mind focused on lucid dreaming/dream recall is good. Drawing would definitely help. If I were a little bit more skilled, I'd draw too :3

As for watching TV/Computer/Anime shows right before going to bed, it may or may not affect you. For me it has never been a problem. Besides, if you watch some intense anime show, some cool things might just show up in your dreams.

      Good luck!

      Thanks.

XeL, I can't draw for poo either, it is partially an idea for the skill more than recall. Anime crossing over into my dream would be amazing, fighting along side with Lucy from Elfen Leid and Alucard from Hellsing.. Now that's a dream!

EDIT: While in the "newbie zone" I might as well just ask in this thread. When attempting to WILD I can begin to drift off into lala land, but as soon as I notice this I have a snap back to reality. If I don't have this "snap back" I end up just falling asleep. My question is; how do I counter the snap back and maintain my consciousness?
