Can you have a non vivid dream and become lucid?

Can you have a non vivid dream and become lucid? I had a fairly vivid dream last night but it was a bit faint and obscure I did see faces though... Can i become lucid with dreams like that and make things become clear and very vivid?

Will? It's not like every dream automatically becomes clear and vivid as soon as you become lucid.

      It's possible, though.

Lucid in the case of dreams means clear minded but that dosn't necesarily mean that the dream is vivid, it just means that you know you are dreaming.
