Question How do you wake up?

Hello, everyone! I need help. Can you list some ways to wake up in a Nightmare please? The only way I know how to wake up is to close my eyes and open them but it doesn't always work... I keep getting False Awakenings

just blink really fast and hard, like you said.
or if you're lucid, why not just change the dream? why don't you take control over FAs and turn them into LDs?

      and I am in them

It would probably be best for you to take control of your dreams. Waking up is only a temporary solution where the benifits of actually taking control of your nightmares would mean less nightmares and being able to be lucid.

Wait, if you are having a nightmare and you know it is a dream you can turn it into a positive LD experience. I suggest either whipping whatever is scaring you's ass or just flying away and exploring. If you really want to wake, just imagine you actual body laying in bed. Try to feel you actual body and once you do, force yourself awake by moving your actual body. If you get a FA, just go explore the dream world. If you FA from the nightmare then it is over anyway. A nightmare isn't permanent. You can always turn the tides of a dream.

False awakenings are actually very good ways to have lucid dreams, all you have to do is reality check...simple enough right? Try pinching yourself or telling yourself to wake up, or change the dream scene.

OK, thanks! I'll just wait till I wake up if I can't wake up right away.
