      Im getting closer to WILDing, but I still need help.

      Ok, so I've been trying to WILD right when I go to sleep for the first time lol Mabye that there is the reason why I am having roadblocks in my chase for a LD.

      But I tried last night and I focused on the colors but nothing happened for a while, so I chose to focus really hard on the colors, which I thought was a bad thing. And it got brighter and my body felt like it was flying or going through a tunnel at a fast rate. That stopped and I came to the blackness in my eyelids but this time there were no colors. I tried and tried and I was getting hot so I gave up. Any help please??

      Like you said yourself, the main roadblock is that you WILD right before you sleep. If you don't mind wasting a bit of sleep, then WILD when you wake up in the middle of the night. Or switch to DEILD.

      Focusing too hard on the colors wont help either, just passively observe it until you are in a lucid dream.

      Acceleration is common during hypnogogia and sleep paralysis.

      You could try doing breathing meditation, that's what I use to relax and calm down.

      The thing is, whenever I focus on the colors, THAT'S when I start to feel that acceleration feeling lol. I always try to just observe the colors but nothing happens. I'l try to do the WBTB methd tonight.
