The first dream i can remember properly!

about 5 hours ago i had one of the weirdest dreams, but it was also one of the best. Not only because i remember what happened but i could control what was happening! Hence why i am here because i wanted it to happen again and wondered if it was just a what the hell moment. So here is my dream, also i dont really understand what you guys mean as lucid so if you could tell me what my dream would be classed as? i have no idea how it works, so this is what happened.

I started off in some wierd structure ontop of a gigantic hill, there where people trying to drag me down but i fought them off, then i thought to myself, why am i not in my bed? i was warm there. Then i realised i was dreaming, and because it was the first time i ever realised i was dreaming and had control without waking up straight away i imediatly became extremely happy, next some people started running up to me so i just charged straight through them, next things next i appeared to be running extremely fast through fields and eventually over mountains. Then i tried to fly, i jumped into the air (even tried to eat a cloud) but soon enough i started falling back down, the falling feeling was amazing because of it being a shock. but as soon as i hit the ground i woke up and unfortunately fell out of bed :/

How do i get more dreams like that?

Yeah, that was a lucid dream. But you've definitely come to the right place. I suggest you look at guides on things such as dream journals, Reality checks etc. and you should be able to train yourself to have more. Welcome.

Hi there! I, too came here because of a spontaneous lucid dream. I thought it was one of the most amazing experiences ever, but I thought it was something that happened by chance. Luckily, I found this site and others like it. Since then I've had over forty lucid dreams from practicing. Not all of them have been as amazing as that first one, but many have. If you stick with it you can do it, too!

I suggest going to the home page of this website and reading through all the links under the heading "menu" on the left hand side of the page. That should give you a good start.

Yeah you definitely had your first lucid. Its a great feeling right? I had about 80 last year and hopefully more this year. Every lucid I's a new adventure.

I was a natural until about three years ago. I still remember lucid dreams from about 5 years old.

The best thing you can do I's start a dream journal. And look at the wiki section.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
