      Hello Everyone :D

      Hello Forum and Fellow dreamers

I just thought that I'd introduce myself to anyone who feels like reading in the noobie zone and just chat a little about how i got into the site

So, im a fairly big nerd. and I've always read fantasy books and stuff and every now and then there'd be characters who could control their dreams. And i always figured that was pretty awesome.
and one day i learnt that it was real (6 months ago or so) But unforturnatly i never really bothered about it until pretty much today.
After searching around this looked like the best site around for information to help me, and it looks like theres a bit of a community here in the forums. So, i decided to stick to this site and learn from here hahah.
I read the entire Introduction section, down to the part where it begins to explain the WILD and DILD, I figrured they could wait till i had a decent dream journel written down. and so i dont clog my brain with too much of it at once.
So, now im here and its already getting late and ill be going to bed soon, So hopefully tomorrow (or later tonight) Ill have something to write down in my dream journel.
Oh, before i go. Should i write down any old dreams that i remember? I guess i should huh..

Anyway. I'm looking forward to getting into this, and getting to know people around the site. Haha.

Welcome to dreamviews. Yes write down anything you remember in your dreams. Fragments even just words or things. It will help you remember more. It's like working out a muscle.

Hi and welcome! Fantasy is amazing, and I can't wait to meet up with some characters from one of the many books I've read. Stopping a horde of trollocs with telekinesis for example. Anyways, you know the basics, just work on your recall for a while and look forward to lucid dreaming. That's all you need in the beginning

After that you can try out the different techniques, and see which one fits you as a person and your lifestyle. You don't have to write down old dreams, they're great as stories though. Write down anything you dream from now on, and include alot of details. That'll boost your recall in no time.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.

      Keep on dreaming!

      Hi Madonski,

I'm new here as well. It will take a while to cultivate your dream recall. That works out fine since you will need time to learn all the tricks, just like you said. As for writing down old dreams, I'd say yes, do it. I've cracked up laughing from re-reading regular dreams I've had in the past that I forgot about. Hopefully you'll do the same!

Good luck learning how to have lucid dreams! It's well worth the effort.
