lovely dreams... that i dont understand

the last 4 dreams that i can recall are all about a girl i meet in the dream... the same girl in each i know her from school... but not on a personal level. I keep dreaming about her and she becomes my friend in the begining and by the end she falls in love with me and tells me and always leaves without answering my question and each time she does a sign appears that i should be lucid but i suppose i never recognize it, i even remember from the last dream that i saw a school bus without a roof.. well half roof and the other half was covered and i asked her why it was like that and she just smiled and got on the bus... and not only her, i realize in the dream that i am in love with her also. It never fails... i dont even like this girl in my waking life... im not too physically attracted to her either. and to be honest shes not really on my level... basically... i would never think to be with her... is this because im used to seeing her in my dreams that i see her in every dream? any answers?

Well, I take it you probably see this girl on a regular basis for her to appear in your dreams. As you probably know, dreams are a result of what we do in our waking lives, so it's no wonder that certain people pop up. Do you have a g/f in real life? If not, maybe you're experiencing a desire to be attatched with someone as more than a friend. Maybe not this girl in real life, but since she appears on a regular basis, your mind puts one and one together and comes up with something.

That's all I can come up with. Anyone else want to take a stab at it?

For the most part, I would agree with Amethyst Star.

I might also add that this girl might be what I call a Distraction -- a figment used by the Ego to keep a person from lucidity. This DC's reaction to your question made me think so. I had some similar experiences when I was very young, though they were different things.
It is important that we do not judge these few unbiased moments of our lives, but take them as they are. There is no nightmare for the lucid dreamer, nor no shadows on the mind.
