      Yet another WILD problem

I know there's a lot of these, but I can't find any like mine.

Now I've tried a WILD 3 times this week. I'm not sure if it's because I'm sick or what but when I try to concentrate on my breathing and relax, in the back of my head I can't stop thinking about swallowing, even when there's no saliva. I know it should be no big deal but it ruins my relaxation. When I just give up to fall asleep I never think about swallowing once.

Is it just because I'm sick?

You might need something else to focus on. If you lie there and wait for sensations to arise, you will have a hard time ignoring them. Tried visualizations? Walking up steps and such is said to be great. Also try lying on your side if your saliva bothers you too much.

I've tried visualizations which was much better than counting my breathing. Plus the night I visualized I started feeling like my body was sort of moving and my eyes moved so much they forced open. I don't know if it was just me or if I was actually getting close.

I know exactly what you're talking about, I don't knew whether to swallow or let it sit, its a very uncomfortable situation.
I also find I can't keep my eyes closed, they just sort of sneak open.
